Raai Laxmi’s Early Life
Raai Laxmi was born on May 5, 1989, in Bangalore, Karnataka. Her father, Ram Rai, was a businessman, and her mother, Manjula Rai, was a homemaker. She completed her schooling from the Baldwin Girls High School in Bangalore and pursued her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bangalore University. She was passionate about modeling and acting from a young age and participated in several beauty pageants, including the Miss Belgaum pageant, which she won.
Raai Laxmi’s Career
After winning the Miss Belgaum pageant, Raai Laxmi started getting offers for modeling and commercials. She appeared in several advertisements for brands like Bru Coffee, Saravana Stores, Jos Alukkas Jewelry, and Fair & Lovely. In 2005, she made her acting debut with the Tamil film ‘Karka Kasadara’, directed by R. V. Udayakumar. Although the film didn’t do well at the box office, Raai Laxmi’s performance was praised.
In 2007, Raai Laxmi got her breakthrough role in the Malayalam film ‘Rock & Roll’, directed by Ranjith.
