DJ STEPHEN 'TWITCH' BOSS

ELLEN'S DJ DEAD AT 40 BY SUICIDE

Stephen "tWitch" Boss, famous DJ on Ellen Degeneres' talk show, is dead... and reports suggest it was a suicide.

Law enforcement sources tell us that Stephen's wife, Allison Holker, ran into the LAPD station Tuesday and was distraught

BECAUSE SHE SAID STEPHEN HAD LEFT THE HOUSE WITHOUT HIS CAR — SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT AT ALL LIKE HIM

We're told that a short time later, officers were called to a shooting at an L.A. hotel... and found Stephen dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Holker tells People, "Stephen lit up every room he walked into. He valued family, friends and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him.

He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."

He continues: "Stephen, we love you, we miss you and I will always save the last dance for you."

Stephen started DJing on Ellen's show in 2014 and was with her until the end of the show in May 2022. In 2020, he became an executive producer of the show.

He had his big showbiz success in 2008 when he finished second on "So You Think Can Dance".

He continued acting and landed several roles where he could showcase his dancing skills. Stephen played Jason in 'Step Up' and was also in 'Magic Mike XXL.'

The last time our photographers got him out of L.A. in September and talked to us about life after 'Ellen'... he sounded pretty happy to be able to spend more time with his family.

Stephen has hosted several reality shows... most notably co-hosting "Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings" with Allison on Disney+.
