Russian missile attacks on Saturday targeted critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv, according to authorities.
The Russian strike also hit a residential building in the east-central city of Dnipro, killing five and injuring at least 60, authorities said.
The UK has announced it will provide 12 Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine as pressure mounts on other European allies to provide heavy artillery.
Russia has gained control of Soledar in eastern Ukraine, the first claim of victory after months of battlefield setbacks, but Ukraine says heavy fighting is still ongoing.

Zelenskyy demands more weapons after a wave of attacks
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has called on Western allies for more weapons after the latest wave of missile attacks across the country targeting critical infrastructure.

“Those weapons that are in the warehouses of our partners and that our soldiers are waiting for,” Zelenskyy said in his daily speech after the attacks, which included a rocket attack on a residential building in Dnipro that killed at least five people.

“Is it possible to stop Russian terror?” added Zelenskyy. “Yes it is. Can it be done in any other way than on the battlefield in Ukraine? Unfortunately not.”

Ukraine shot down 21 of the 33 incoming missiles fired by Russia on Saturday at targets across the country, Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny said.

Ukraine shot down 18 of 28 incoming cruise missiles and three of five air-to-ground cruise missiles, he wrote on Telegram. Officials reported attacks across the country, including around Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv and the Dnieper.
