The state government has invested Rs 80 crore to build 1,320 two-room flats on a plot of over 25 acres at Mandepally in Rajanna Sircilla district. The mega housing project was a promise to the backward people of the district by the Chief Minister. The houses were built to provide complete facilities for the homeless with water connections from the Mission Bhagiratha project. In addition, two parks and a gymnasium were also established.

After arriving in Mandepalla on Sunday to inaugurate two-room houses, KCR distributed house documents to six beneficiaries and later planned to attend the ground-breaking ceremony of the new house, which was presented by the CM himself. In the process of inaugurating the new house, the people there tied a ribbon over the main door, which KCR was supposed to cut with scissors. Suddenly the scissors missed the plate and KCR waited for a while. People started looking for scissors and KCR was confused but showing nonchalant character she pulled down the ribbon and allowed the ladies to enter the house.

The video has gone viral on social media and this is not the first time a CM is in such a situation.

Meanwhile, Telangana Urban Administration and Urban Development Minister KTR on Twitter expressed his wishes for the successful completion of the huge project of 1,320 2BHK houses.

At an inaugural function in Telangana’s Rajanna Sircilla chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao lost his temper. He pulled out ribbon after not getting a scissor for cutting the ribbon. He was inaugurating 2BHK houses for loom workers and homeless poor.
