Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty will tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend and cricketer KL Rahul today, January 23rd. After meeting through a mutual friend, they have been in a relationship for four years. Lovebirds get married in the afternoon at Shetty’s Khandala farm. According to reports, Athiya and KL Rahul’s wedding guests will be served South Indian cuisine in a traditional manner. For the uninitiated, Suniel Shetty was born into a Tulu-speaking Bunt family in Mulki, Mangalore.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, who have been dating for quite some time, will exchange wedding vows on January 23 at Suniel Shetty’s luxury estate in Khadala. According to reports, their wedding will have lavish South Indian cuisine. In keeping with tradition, guests will even be served food on banana leaves. Media reports also state that there will be around 100 guests at the wedding and the couple has instituted a no-phones policy.
Athiya and KL Rahul will take their wedding vow today at 4 pm in the presence of their family members and close friends. After the rituals, they will pose for the paparazzi at 6:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE COUPLE’S PRE-WEDDING FUNCTIONS
While the entire wedding was kept very hush-hush. Followed by mehendi and haldi on 22nd January. The ceremony takes place at Shetty’s Khandala home. On January 23rd, wedding wows will be exchanged among the closest family and friends. After the wedding, both the families and the couple will host a grand wedding reception for their friends and industry experts in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Athiya Shetty was last seen in the 2019 film Motichoor Chaknachoor. She was seen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film. The actress made her Bollywood debut with Hero opposite Sooraj Pancholi in 2015. She was also a part of Mubarakan with Arjun Kapoor.
