Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on July 21 claimed that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) haven’t been formed against any citizen of India. Emphasising further, he said that no Indian Muslims will face any loss due to CAA and NRC. “CAA and NRC haven’t been formed against any citizen of India. Indian Muslims will face no loss due to CAA. After partition, assurance was given that we’ll take care of minorities of our country. We’re abiding by that till today, Pakistan didn’t,” said Bhagwat while attending a book launch event in Guwahati.
