Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed crowds in several European cities remotely on March 4, appealing for support as the Russian invasion of his country continued.

Zelensky appeared via video link in cities including Paris, Prague, Lyon, and Frankfurt.

This footage, captured by Lukas Biba, shows the crowd gathered in Wenceslas Square in the Czech Republic’s capital city of Prague. Zelensky appealed for people to do what they can to support Ukraine, and led the crowd in a moment of silence for those who have died in the conflict, accordinA packed Wenceslas Square clapped and cheered Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky who addressed supporters demonstrating across Europe on Friday evening. “Do not be silent. Take to the streets and support Ukraine, support our efforts and our struggle, because if Ukraine does not survive, Europe will not survive. If we fall, you will fall too” Zelensky said to protesters in Prague, Paris, Frankfurt, Vienna and other European cities. Demonstrations in support of Ukraine have been taking place across Europe daily since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine just over a week ago.
