Republic Day 2023: As India celebrated its 74th Republic Day, a stunning light show was organized at Parliament House, North and South Blocks. Buildings were lit up with the tricolor as the country celebrated the occasion with great fervour.
Earlier in the day, India showcased its military prowess imbued with the spirit of ‘aatmanirbharta’ and diverse and vibrant cultural heritage at the Kartavya Trail in New Delhi. The main theme of the celebrations was ‘Nari Shakti’ with President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a host of other dignitaries joining the people and members of the armed forces in celebrating the auspicious occasion. The main guest of the festive event was Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi.
