As the 10-day Ganeshotsav came to an end on September 19, thousands of devotees came out on road to bid farewell to the Elephant God in Mumbai. Despite ban, a large number of devotees gathered in the procession of Lord Ganesha idol immersion. On the other hand, devotees in Hyderabad gathered to witness the immersion of tallest Lord Ganesha idol of the city. COVID norms were flouted during the immersion of idols.
