Family members, neighbours of drug peddlers manhandle police in Haryana’s Fatehabad

Family members and neighbours of some drug peddlers manhandled a police team in Bazigar Basti of Fatehabad in Haryana, to help the accused flee from the spot. The police team had raid the area and was taking drug peddlers to the Jakhal Police Station. Bijendra Singh, SHO, said, “They wanted to help them escape. As per our info, they succeeded in helping one of them. Some injuries have been reported, medical examination will be done. Action will be taken, police is present there”.
