The first-ever direct flight between Goa and Rajkot started to boost the tourism, which got severely affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Rajkot Airport Authority gave water cannon salute to welcome the maiden flight. The flight started on July 15 and carried around 70 passengers.
