Indian Coast Guard ships Samudra Prahari, Vaibhav and Vajra continued with firefighting onboard MV X Press Pearl on May 30. According to Indian Coast Guard, fire on MV X Press Pearl has considerably reduced with moderate density smoke. An aerial recce of the fire was also carried out by ICG aircraft and no oil spill has been detected.
