J&K: Farmer’s son cracks IES exam conducted by UPSC

Tanveer Ahmad Khan of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district has secured second rank in the IES examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Tanveer is a son of a rickshaw-puller and farmer. He is the first boy from the valley to qualify the exam. Tanveer Ahmad Khan comes from a poor family as his father was a seasonal rickshaw puller and presently a farmer. While it was definitely a hard journey, it kept Tanveer going was hope.
