The streets in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram witnessed deserted look on August 1. Shops were closed in Kochi as well. The state government has imposed weekend lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19. Essential services are allowed amid the lockdown. Currently, the state has 1,65,011 active cases.
