Manipur state government headed by Chief Minister N Biren Singh along with of Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Manipur Olympic Association, Several Sports Federation representatives felicitated Mirabai Chanu at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound, Imphal East on July 27. Mirabai was awarded Rs. 1 crore from the state government. The Chief Minister also handed the appointment letter of Mirabai Chanu as an Additional Superintendent of Police (Sports).
