A woman, Sasmita Gochhait rescued 8-feet-long king cobra on June 5 which entered a residential area in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj. Sasmita had never rescued any king cobra before, but she managed to catch the snake with forest department officials and later released the reptile in its natural habitat.
