Over 50 dogs rescued from partially-submerged dog shelter in Agra

Agra (UP), : The incessant rainfall in Agra has disturbed the normal lives. Due to rainfall, the animal-operated Casper’s Home in Agra was flooded. More than 50 dogs were rescued from a partially-submerged dog shelter on July 31. Vineeta Arora, who runs Casper’s Home said, “Officials of Agra Municipal Corporation had promised to construct a drain. I reminded them several times but to no avail”.Municipal Commissioner Nikhil Tikaram Funde said, “Agra Municipal Corporation provided the NGO (that runs Casper’s Home) with a piece of land for the dog shelter. Now it is up to them to make other arrangements”
