PM Modi’s speech at 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Indore, Madhya Pradesh

PM Modi inaugurated the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The PM remarked that the Pravasi Bhartiyas have an important role to play in addressing the world’s desire to know more about India. He said that the world was watching India keenly with great curiosity and highlighted the extraordinary achievements of the nation in recent years.

“Pravasi Bharatiyas are the brand ambassadors of India and their role is diverse. India has entered the Amrit kaal for the next 25 years and our Pravasi Bharatiyas have a significant place in this journey,” PM Modi said at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in Indore.

At the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in Indore, PM Modi said, “India not only has the capability to become a knowledge hub but also a skilled capital. Our youth have skills, values ​​and honesty and determination to work. Our skilled capital can become the engine of global growth.”

He further added that he looks at contemporary India with hope and curiosity. “Today, India is viewed with hope and curiosity. India’s voice is heard on the global stage… India is also the host of this year’s G20. We don’t want to make it just a diplomatic event, but an event of people’s participation.”

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched the program on Sunday. This convention will last until January 10.

President Draupadi Murmu is also scheduled to conclude this conference on Tuesday (January 10). The President will also felicitate the NRIs in the concluding session. As many as 3500 NRIs from 70 countries are participating in this conference.
