Four tourists from Punjab’s Sangrur were arrested in Himachal Pradesh’s Manali on July 14 following an alleged attack on the locals with swords. The arrests were made after video of these tourists brandishing swords in Manali went viral on social media. In the viral video, two men were seen openly brandishing swords in public when asked to reverse their car during traffic jam. One man, who looked visibly miffed, was also seen making a phone call to someone as he roamed around with a sword on the road. A case has been registered against all the four persons under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Arms Act.
