Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated Section I Ropeway from Peer Kho to Mahamaya Temple in Jammu on July 16. The 1.184-km-long ropeway can ferry 400 persons/hr with14 operational cabins operating on a mono cable detachable system. The Mahamaya Temple ropeway by Damodar Ropeways & Infra Ltd (DRIL) is built under the ‘Make in India’ vision.
