A horrifying hit-and-run video has been captured on CCTV in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The driver of the car in the video mowed down a young pedestrian and ran the car over the youngster.

The driver of the car did not stop after hitting the young man, the driver escaped by crushing the man under the front and rear wheels. The victim is admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

The UP Police said that “necessary legal action is being taken by registering the unknown car driver under relevant sections at Nauchandi Police Station in connection with the incident where the car driver hit and injured a young man who was walking under Nauchandi Police Station.” The Meeru police further said that “after treating the injured, his relatives took him home”.
