At least 32 dead, including children, after a man armed with a gun and a knife stormed a kindergarten in northeastern Thailand on Thursday, a spokesman for the Royal Thai Police said on Thursday.

The incident took place in Nong Bua Lam Phu province and the death toll so far includes 23 children, according to a police colonel.
Police have issued a search warrant for the main suspect, a 34-year-old ex-cop who is on the run and is carrying a rifle, a pistol and a knife.
