A 42-year-old man from Rajasthan’s Nagaur who sleeps 300 days in a year suffers from a rare disorder known as ‘Axis Hypersomnia’. According to Purkharam’s family, they sought medical help when he slept excessively during initial days. “This is a very rare case it finds one in million cases. It can also cause by major head injury. Secondly, it can also cause by drugs and medicine. It’s a psychological case that you may find in books and articles. Hence, ‘Hypersomnia’ disorder can be treatable,” said an expert.
