Ameesha Patel (Amisha Patel) is an actress, who works in Bollywood, Tamil, and Telugu films.
Ameesha made her acting debut in Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’.
Ameesha was born on June 9, 1975 in a Gujarati family.
Her brother Ashmit Patel is also an actor and his grandfather Rajni Patel was a lawyer, who was also Mumbai Congress Pradesh Committee President.
Her birth name – Amisha – is a combination of the first three letters of her father’s name Amit and the last three letters of her mother’s name Asha.
