On the first Monday of ‘Sawan’, devotees gathered at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on July 26. People took holy dip in the river Ganga on the auspicious occasion. Sawan month is devoted to Lord Shiva and holds a great importance in the lives of people who follow Hinduism.
