Considering the interests of the people in J&K, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha took the decision to open the Mughal Road and Sinthan Road for the general public from July 5. Since the reopening of the historic Mughal road, locals in Poonch said it has eased their business.“It was a very good decision to reopen the Mughal road. The fruits and vegetables which come from Jammu were very expensive. But the Governor’s decision to reopen the road has become more convenient for us. Fruits and vegetables are much cheaper now,” said a local.
